About Dr. Lamperti
Experienced facial surgery specialist
Thomas Lamperti, MD is an Ivy League-trained, double board certified facial plastic surgeon in Seattle, Washington. He has been selected as both a Castle Connolly Top Doctor and a Seattle Met Magazine Top Doctor and is certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery.
Dr. Lamperti specializes in primary and revision rhinoplasty and has focused Seattle-based practice to treatments of the head, face and neck. He feels that by focusing his plastic surgery endeavors solely to the face he is best able to provide the excellent results his patients desire. Dr. Lamperti is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the Washington Society of Facial Plastic Surgeons.
Dr. Lamperti has traveled extensively to study with the leaders of the field throughout the country in order to expand and refine his techniques. Dr. Lamperti is a rhinoplasty (nose job) and facial rejuvenation expert on RealSelf.com; a frequent Facial Plastic Surgery contributing authority on HealthTap; and also serves as a reviewer for the Annals of Otology, Rhinology and Laryngology. He has lectured at a national Facial Plastic Surgery meeting and has been published in the peer-reviewed journal, Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery. As a way to give back to the community, Dr. Lamperti participates in "FACE TO FACE: The National Domestic Violence Project". FACE TO FACE surgeons offer consultation and surgery, pro-bono, to eligible victims of domestic violence. Click here to learn more about FACE TO FACE.
Dr. Lamperti's approach to patient care is unique. He has a practice managed with just the optimal amount of support staff to ensure he is very hands-on, and has one to one relationships with his patients from the initial office visit or virtual consultation to post operative recovery and follow-up. This is not the case in many plastic surgery offices where nurses do the bulk of the pre and post-operative interactions. Dr. Lamperti’s personalized approach is a key part of why his practice thrives on referrals. Despite his great talent, he has modesty and approachability that patients say set him apart.
After graduating maxima cum laude with degrees in Biology and Criminal Justice from La Salle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he began his medical training at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons where he concurrently received both M.D. and Master of Public Health degrees. Dr. Lamperti completed a surgery internship at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. Following this he completed a top-ranked residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.
This intense training has led to an in-depth understanding of the face and neck and its underlying structures. Dr. Lamperti’s background was then put to use as he served in the United States Air Force at the 3rd Medical Group in Anchorage, Alaska. During his time in Alaska he founded the Facial Plastic Surgery division and was chief of the Otolaryngology department.
Following his time with the Air Force, Dr. Lamperti returned to Seattle where he joined Pacific Medical Centers and started the Facial Plastic Surgery division. The Lamperti Rhinoplasty and Facial Rejuenvation Center offers individually customized Facial Plastic Surgery to the Puget Sound region, with a focus on safely achieving natural, durable results.
