Redirect the focus to your eyes. The nose is not meant to be the focus of the face. Rhinoplasty, or nose reshaping surgery, can create a more refined and proportioned nose that not only looks better but also functions better.

Wegener's Granulomatosis (Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis) Patient Saddle Nose Deformity Repair
This patient had longstanding Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (GPA) which was formerly known as Wegener's Granulomatosis that was well controlled thanks to the care of her rheumatologist. Once her disease was stable her rheumatologist cleared the patient to have reconstructive rhinoplasty to rebuild her external nose where it had collapsed due to the loss of support. Thomas Lamperti, MD performed an open rhinoplasty and used some of the patient's own rib cartilage to rebuild her bridge and to move her upturned tip back down closer to its original position. In the 1 year after photos you can see how the patient has a much smoother profile line with correction of the saddle nose. You can also see how her tip has been counter-rotated.
