Crooked And Under-Projected Nose Rhinoplasty
This patient had a crooked nose due to a prior injury. She was interested in improving her significant rightward nasal deviation, smoothing her bridge bump and refining her tip blunting. Dr. Lamperti performed an open septorhinoplasty which allowed him to straighten the patient's septum (which improved her chronic nasal obstruction) along with straigthening the crooked nasal bones to make her external nose more straight. He also added tip projection and smoothed down the bridge hump to create a straighter profile. In the 1 year after photos you can see how the patient's c-shaped deviation is improved and the profile is smooth and straight. The increased tip projection has improved the patient's original tip blunting, adding natural refinement to the tip region.
